Poem book
There was a drunk on the street.
He walks and talks with a beat.
Staring eyes watches him dance.
After performances, he gives them thanks.
There was a drunk on the street.

"Me and my closer friends, we would scream, imitate people, laughing lots, make up crazy things, when people walked by. Seriously though, they never said anything about it."
Speaker: The bully, I guess
Audience: The victim.
Explanation/message: It is confusing with all the mixed emotions but they don't need to live with it for the rest of their lives. Time moves on and they just need to move with it.

Digital chapter
Ending chapter:
After David, Petra and Rosalind took off to the city of telepaths, Michael finds himself a surviving horse caught up in the "spider-web" and restrained. With the remaining spray left on his hand, he pulls of the web, prepare the horse and rides back to Waknuk. Rachel, all alone, waits for Michael foolishly with no clue what may happen to her or was Michael ever going to come back. Nevertheless, what happens next in Rachel's life was no tragedy but the best moment of her life, the moment when she catches Michael's thought in a far away distance knowing that he is coming back for her. Michael prepares her for their escape through mind-shaping and without notice, Rachel leaves Waknuk to meet him halfway. Unaware of Rachel's absence, the people in Waknuk lived out their ordinary life meanwhile Rachel and Michael rides off toward south-west side in hopes of meeting their future home place some day.
The novel had already given Petra, Rosalind and David a safe place to be and I think its time for them to live a normal life instead of giving them extra troubles in their dream city. However, Michael had stayed in the Fringes with Rachel in Waknuk and I wanted to give them an ending too like Michael had said they had just as much right to leave as any telepaths. This is a short, compressed ending for Michael and Rachel but with more details it will make them less of a side-character and more involve in the story. This ending also leaves an opening for the other members of the nine telepaths and a good beginning for book 2 if the story continues.

Character sketch
In John Wyndham's novel, The Chrysalids, Petra is the younger sister of the Strorm family. Just like David, She is telepathic and extremely talented in the usage of her power but yet still in the mist of her, as they would call, mutation. Rosalind has mentioned to David, she does not consider Petra as one of them but admits her power of a telepath: "Something like us, but not one of us. None of us could command like that. She's something much more than we are."(84) As the discovery of Petra's power continues, David and the others watched her and kept her safe from the burden of being a mutant, a deviation, and the worst of all, a blasphemy. In danger of being discovered, Michael's thoughts were clear and so does David, to protect the others, even if they had to kill: "You understand what that means, David?" "They are scared of us. Ready to break us down in the attempt to find out more about us -once they catch us. You mustn't let them get hold of Rosalind or Petra -far better to kill them yourself than let that happen to them. You understand?"(143) Petra, knowing that they are in danger, still thinks like a child and refuses to take in the fact that normal people are afraid of them and will harm them in any possible way. She asks David "Why? Why should they be afraid of us? We aren't hurting them."(144) No matter how much David answers, she never understands the situation and persisted: "I dont see why." But David made sure to get it off her mind as Petra wakes up Rosalind from her sleep and moves on with their escape. All in all, Petra in the novel, The Chrysalids, plays a role as a kid of her age should, not understanding the danger and situation around her, getting excited to see unfamiliar sites, and losing control over her telepathy, yet she is understanding and helpful when they need her to be which is what leads them to the city of telepaths, the city David had dreamt of.

The Tribulation
The tribulation ends with twenty-three survivors. I dont know how to react knowing that everyone else is dead. Never ever have I been in a situation where I have to face real and serious deaths but I know I had to make sure that we will be fine. I walk the perimeter of our surroundings, in great fear, taking in what has happened and what was left of us. Everyone has their own way of dealing with fear, some panic, some keeps it within themselves, some may yell or shout, not believing their eyes and some runs away. I kept walking, and walking, probably reflecting on my life before the tribulation.

Poem from Juliet to Paris
Why art thou here when thou know'st my heart is with Romeo?
Thou dares't fancies her, Juliet, when her beauty is merely of blossoming age. Like Thy love, my love for Romeo turns me into bittering rage. Still my heart, what used to be my own, is no longer real but I wish thee well in a tragedy of a dreary fairytale.
Thou wishes to love Juliet but Juliet loves not thee. Thou wishes to marry Juliet but Juliet marries no one but Romeo. If thee desires Juliet like nothing else, then thou should grant Juliet her pray. Juliet wishes thee to withdraw thy proposal and get thee hence, away from my life.
I chose to not use the word "the".
